Youth Improv 101 (7-12): BASICS

Our Youth Improv 101 class is an introduction to improv for 7-12 year olds. This class focuses on instinctive play and creativity as a way to develop confidence, improve listening and speaking skills, and work in groups effectively. We practice improv games and learn the basics of quality scenework. Over the six weeks you will specifically learn games that promote: grounded scene work, how to create characters, and how to cultivate the environment within improv scenes. Students learn to be fearless and have fun on stage using the TIM approach to improv.

An introduction to improv for 7-12 year olds. The class has 4 installments and starts Saturday, March 23rd, from 12pm-1:30pm. Zack Armstrong will be your instructor.  Availability: Class is limited to 12 students. No comedy or theater experience necessary
. CLASS RUNS for 1 1/2 HOURS each week.
