Intro to Performing Virtual Improvisation

  • 414 East 9th Street Tucson, AZ, 85705 United States (map)

Performing improv on a virtual platform like Zoom is a whole new artform.  While it relies heavily on the skills of stage improvisation: Yes And, listening, details, emotions and consequences, it also requires a whole new set of skills to create a satisfying product for the audience.  Meant for intermediate and advanced improvisers looking to take the skills into the virtual world.  This class will explore how to create a show online, setting up online show standards of performance, creating character for the digital medium, and exploring relationship in a more honest way.

Prerequisite:  This class was created with a more advanced performer in mind, someone who performs regularly on the stage with a performing team.
